Customers who purchase our disaster-proof hardware can register their products, free of charge, to gain access to the Disaster Recovery Service. This service is available throughout the warranty period and provides 24/7/365 Disaster Response Team support for help recovering digital information.

Immediately following a disaster, the ioSafe team will initiate the following data recovery process:

1. Phone support to evaluate the disaster situation and determine the course of action.
2. If an onsite recovery of the data is impractical, we will ship your hardware product to our facility for recovery at no expense to you.
3. If recovery of your data at our facilities is impractical, we will pay up to $5,000 per drive for the S2 or R4 products and $2,500 per drive for the 3.5 product family to a third-party disk recovery service.
4. Any data extracted by the third-party service will be loaded on a replacement product and shipped back to you.
