The ioSafe R4 network attached storage (NAS) can function as an independent storage system that will backup and store both application and file data (business records, accounts receivable/payable, customer databases, email, etc). Data is transferred at speeds up to 1 GB per minute via standard Ethernet network (NFS/CIFS). The ioSafe NAS appliance is built for high performance for NFS (Linux, UNIX, and Mac), as well as CIFS (Windows) computer environments. High availability and Data archiving is easy with ioSafe disaster proof hardware.
No other data backup, storage and recovery computer hardware combines the convenience, reliability, disaster protection, and cost effectiveness of the ioSafe R4 NAS device. Current backup plans and strategies using tape drive backup (LTO, DLT), offsite storage, fireproof media safes, online backup and backup CDs/DVDs for archival purposes are decidedly insufficient when compared to the data disaster recovery storage strategy enabled by the ioSafe R4 solution. Protect your digital data assets today!
